Hello girls!
My name is Melissa and I am 26 years old. DH is 27.
We have no children and have been TTC for about 2 years now with no success. After numerous tests and procedures we found that there were a few reasons why we weren't able to concieve on our own. We were referred to a great RE who said we should move forward with IVF. We felt extra blessed when we found out DH's insurance would cover all our infertility benefits 100%! We were supposed to have our IVF cycle in March. However, when we went in for our Sonohyst and Mock ET my RE found a small septum in my uterus that had not been detected on my HSG. The RE said we would have to cancel our IVF cycle and do surgery (Hysteroscopic and Laproscopic) to remove the septum. It was too risky to go through with the IVF cycle since if the baby implanted on the septum I would miscarry. I had my surgery about a week ago and it was 100% successful. I am now on estrogen therapy for 60 days. Then I will wait for AF and then start BCP's. It looks like I will cycle in June/July.
Is there anyone else who is planning to cycle during this time? Anyone else who feels like they have the longest 3 month wait in the world ahead of them? I thought it would be really nice to get a thread going so we could all wait together and support each other. I would love to get some other \"waiters\" on here with me! Everyone is welcome...including FET's!
xoxo
